Well...

I have decided to move my site to (insert name of latest Provider)
Crosswinds!

I have a few things to say about Geocities as I move here to (new provider) Crosswinds....

GEOCITIES SUCKS!!!

Notice the little pop-up that came on with every line of the 'Welcome' song?
They put a little pop-up on every page...

I HATE POP-UPS!

It's a REAL PAIN IN THE ASS to go through 70 or so pages and remove the Java script they add at the bottom of each page to get rid of the pop ups....

Geocities has a little watermark at the bottom of every page on their site that sent you to sites that THEY thought were relevant to what was on the page you were reading....

Well, one of my pages happened to mention that the roommate I had 2 years ago on the Gusgus Tour was gay... No big deal, eh....
Well, their fuckin' watermark program scanned my page for keywords, and saw ONE WORD.... gay.... and decided that the ENTIRE PAGE was about gays and lesbians, and that you should see OTHER sites about gays and lesbians by clicking a link on MY page (it was a page about Detroit, of all places)....
They also thought that the majority of my site was about arts and literature... 
BULLSHIT..
It's about good loud screaming heavy metal, and my involvement in the music business as one of the sickest (and best) lighting director working today... It's about life on the road with an electronica band, Gusgus... It's about ridding the world of a scourge known as the Macarena... it's about harassing my older brother for being.... older... than me.... it's now also about the restoration of Bella, my lil Fiat Spider
It's about ME, damnit!!!
Not arts, gays, or whatever!

SO... HERE I AM... on (insert name of latest Provider)

I tried Xoom, but all they did was fill my mailbox with CRAP..then, their server screwed up this page, so you couldn't see the rest of my site.... ACME was the same way...apparently, the little window they put at the top of our pages messes with the content of anything that's refreshed into it.....

Oh...why am I keeping the page on geocities anyway?
